Many professional women are guilty of multiple fashion faux pas without realizing it, and their lack of judgment can sometimes lead to being passed over for a job or promotion.

Too much cleavage
Showing too much cleavage at work is the No. 1 fashion faux pas on our list. Studies show that women who dress in sexy attire in a professional environment are more often passed over for promotions than women who dress more conservatively. Bottom line: If you want to get ahead, ditch the low-cut top.

Too-short skirt
Wearing a micro-mini may send the message that you're trying to compensate for skills you lack in other areas. Also, the knee is a visual anchor, says Barbara Pachter, an etiquette expert. People's attention will be drawn downward when they approach you, instead of toward your face where it should be. Save your minis for after office hours and, while it doesn't need to be knee length, put on a skirt that you can sit down in without showing too much thigh.

See-through clothes
Summer materials such as organza and liquid jersey look and feel cool and pretty, but in the light of a staff meeting, they can reveal the outlines of your legs — and much more. The best solution is to check out your ensemble in a bright, naturally lit room before leaving for work. Always wear transparent blouses over camis or under jackets; transparent dresses and skirts should be layered over a slip or leggings. Ginger Burr of Total Image Consultants notes that buying clothes with lining — especially white pants and skirts — is always a safe choice.

Over-accessorizing
A rule of thumb when it comes to accessories in the workplace: Less is more. Costume jewelry, when worn in bulk, tends to look tacky. The real thing, on the other hand, can come off as gaudy. A boardroom-ready look includes one show stopper plus subtle accessories. That means if you're going to put on a chunky beaded necklace, stick to minimal earrings and arm candy.

Bringing the beach into the office
Sundresses, spaghetti straps, flip-flops. Nothing makes you look less professional than coming to the office like you're dressed for the beach. Having a cover-up like a pashmina, neutral blazer or cardigan on hand will always make an outfit look more professional. Truth be told, however, these summer staples are best avoided at the office. Trade your tank top for a silk shell and Havaianas for backless mules.

Field trip 2009

The kindergarten department had a field trip. The question is: "Did the kids enjoy?"
We had been to Nakhon Pathom to see the largest Credi in Thailand and in that place, there were different types of displayed buddhas. The kids and the teachers felt it hard to walk up and down the stairs....so tiring and it's very hot. After an hour or more we went to a place where we saw a palace and fascinating houses which were maintained for one hundred and one years.

It's my 3rd birthday. Thanks everyone for celebrating with me, giving me something to cherish on this special moment and extending your greetings and love to me. I am so delighted to have you everyone. Before my birthday,we went out to celebrate it earlier, stroll, take pictures, eat, play and enjoy.Wow! And most of all "Thank you LORD!"

A New Challenge!

New school year, new co-homeroom teachers and most of all new batch of kids. This is my 3rd year in teaching kindergartens 3 and I can say that this batch a bit different with my past students. Yeah, I know it's not apt to compare but as a teacher you cannot ignore the fact to compare and think each weaknesses and strengths. The first month was really hard for us but we can see the development from them. Adjustment is really needed for them to adapt to their new stage of life. K2 life is easier than in K3 as to lessons, book completions etc. I just had my teaching observation last 29th of May, I can say it's not really bad seeing the effort done by my kids. It's the first day for the new lesson and I was amazed by the fact that they can do it. Very good job, kids! Meanwhile, what challenges me is the betternment of their speaking and reading skills. I have 23 kids and only Nona can talk to me in English, just because Nona practices English with her mom. But they can understand me in performing something about the lessons. Thai kids retention span is low and whenever they are apart with schooling, they can easily forget what they have studied in K2. Much more they didn't attend the summer classes. Classroom management is really a bit problem in my class but it's improving this time. We encountered many problems and surpassed them e.g. one of our kids (Fuji) was really affected but didn't wan to move to another class as a solution to it. let's wait for them to BLOOM as a beautiful FLOWER. Let's just be the things being added like water, sunshine and air....Keep striving kids and Good luck!

Library Time

Mom and I spent our vacant time at the library. We read many books, identified many pictures and stroll while playing hehehe, it will not be okay without playing....

K3 Transports Project

JARED'S CHRISTENING DAY

It's been a long time since I was born, I am 2 years and 11 months now and this is the time I am batized. My parents planned for my baptism before I was 1 year old but due to unexpected situation that the first church - Ruamrudee Church, they applied for, the priest was asking them to marry again. My parents were thinking about the confusion on the papers so we did not pursue it. Until this June 14th, it was done successfully at Assumption Bangrak Church with Father John, an Australian priest.

My godparents were Ninang Bhing, Ninang Chris, Ninang Elena, Ninong Rence, Ninong Tristan and Ninong Ely. It was successful as well as my party held in our apartment. See the invitation.God bless us o Lord!

Kung saan, kailan, papaano, bakit at ano ay madalas hindi natin matagpuan
ang mga tamang kasagutan sa mga tanong na ito. Minsan akala natin ay tama na ang kasagutan na ating nasumpungan ngunit ang kasagutan pala na ating nahanap na, ay magiging isa rin na kamalian. Sa dami ng tanong sa ating buhay madalas nagiging tanong na lang ito. Dahil hindi na natin alam ang sagot kung ang kasagutan na ating nasumpungan ay magiging isa na namang tanong, tanong na dapat ay laging may kasagutan. Mga tanong ng buhay natin, Mga tanong na nagiging isang tanong na lang. Mga tanong na nababaon na lang sa limot o hindi kaya ay napaglilipasan na lang ng panahon. Napakaraming tanong marami rin ang kasagutan na kailangan, Madalas kasama ito sa pagikot ng buhay natin. Minsan nawawalan ng direksyon ang buhay natin dahil sa hindi mahanap na kasagutan. Bakit nga ba hindi mahanap ang sagot sa tanong?, Dahil ba tayo ay tao lamang? o hindi kaya madalas lang tayo na magalinlangan, Kaya napakarami natin na katanungan sa ating buhay? o madalas lang na gusto natin na magtanong?. Hanggang saan? hindi natin alam, Hanggang kalian? Walang tiyak na kasagutan. Ito ang mga tanong ng BUHAY na madalas itanong natin sa ating SARILI.

What's on your mind?

I am really excited at first, kc ang baby ko ngaun e mag-aaral na...as a mom, i want everything to be good for him, the books, the uniforms, everything is ready for him...am not expecting that something like this will happen, he's doing great with the lessons, ahead of the others in terms of English lessons..but his attitude needs to be developed,

>>searching, thinking about the better way to do, the better solution to adapt, the better choice to make about my UNICO HIJO, my head is aching!!!!!!!

>>nasasaktan ako sa mga ngyayari, sana naging Thai n lng ako para thai na rin anak ko, ng sa ganun, marinig nila ako! hindi yong pinoy ako kaya cila ang unawain ko, naiintindihan ko, hindi 100% disiplinado anak ko but i'm a mom, i'm praying & trying to correct him, stopping means giving up, i'm willing to wait for his development, sana andyan kau to support me not to push me to give up!

>>mahirap mag-expect, that's the lesson I learnt, it's hard to beg and have a negative response..somehow, I am thinking sana I know what will happen para d na me nagtry and expect, am asking to myself, kung naging Thai kaya ako then, the school ask the teacher that she wants to transfer her son/daughter to another class, what will be the response, what will be the outcome, is it the same with mine? i think it's a big NO, anyways, it happened already, pinoy kase ako at isa pa makulit ang anak ko, big challenge ito, big problem ito, that's the way i see it as the way they see it,
